Hello, I’m Jianna, a psychotherapist living and working in New York City. You have probably landed on this page because you are interested in starting therapy. Let me tell you a bit about how we would work together.

My role as a therapist is to listen, understand, reflect, and formulate ideas about what is going on with you, what patterns I see, and what we can do to work towards resolving any current or past conflicts. Your role in this work is to explore, articulate, be curious, and work towards change.

In my private practice, the aim is to create an environment where we can explore conflicts and challenges you're going through with understanding and curiosity about your strengths and how to work best with them to create changes that make you feel better in your life. I work from a predominantly psychodynamic perspective with individuals, particularly in creative fields, to foster empathetic relationships that lead to positive changes in my clients' professional and personal lives.

Psychodynamic psychotherapy promotes change in how people experience themselves, the world, and their relationships through developing increased self-awareness and insight. I specialize in helping people navigate life transitions, explore relationship issues with the self and others, and use tarot as a symbolic tool for growth.
